Are traditions important and should we preserve them, as is often said?
Tradition is very necessary to preserve the energies of creativity. But it is a killer when it hermetically seals the creative idea that has been exhausted or that has been outlived by our historical development and has maintained the same behavior for millennia. Then we must free ourselves from what we have covered a being with, the fruit of our causality, thought and desires; from what the Seven Rays of evolution have built. It, lying in the foundations of humanity as mythology, as culture, as the applied will of the Creator, has a great magnetic force of attraction, holds man and therefore at certain moments does not allow Icarus to be born. And the dream of Icarus, bequeathed to us by ancient Greek culture, is a creative idea.
Tradition is the garment that sometimes, with great sorrow, our historical memory must shed.
So, the idea of creativity and the image of tradition are diametrically opposed, which is not denied, but is realized. Old wineskins are needed so that it can be said that new wine is not put into them. And it should not be put! Of course, Jesus paid for this with His existence, but he also left us the idea of new wineskins so that there can be creativity.
The past as tradition will recede, but creativity will not, because the world is evolving!
