Esoteric Schools and Mystical Teachings, part 2

Part 2 of the second volume of the work "History and Theory of World Religious Teachings" is dedicated to the esoteric schools and mystical teachings of the post-Christian era - Neoplatonism, Hesychasm, Rosicrucianism, Theosophy, Anthroposophy and Dunovism.

As in the first part of the series, Vaklush Tolev presents selected individuals, carriers of this occult knowledge: Plotinus, Rudolf Steiner, Petar Dunov.

The author, not without a certain amount of regret, notes the absence of the magic of heuristics in post-Christian spiritual teachings - there is the statement of the given and the deduced.

"The adytum - the hall of training, and the ark of initiation are missing; the power of the caduceus, i.e. the staff of Thoth. The worldview of European culture is conditioned by past mythologies and Christianity as monastic behavior... The greatest trauma of post-Christian occultism was inflicted and left by the psychology of the Inquisition."
