History of Religions, volume 1
This is not just history, but a large-scale theory of religions.
– Prof. Zahari Staykov, sociologist
Vaklush Tolev is known as a theologian and thinker with an original approach and theoretical contribution to religious studies. For him, it is not subordinated to religious or scientific affiliation, but is the fruit of inner insight, lived truth and spiritual knowledge.
His lectures on the history and theory of world religious teachings have been published in two volumes. The first volume - "History of Religions", contains an extensive overview of the major world religions (Hinduism, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Christianity and Islam) in their applied and metaphysical aspects. A separate chapter of the book is also dedicated to atheism. In addition to a thorough comparative analysis, the author also offers a hierarchical comparison of religions based on the Doctrine of the Hierarchy of Spiritual Waves derived by him.
The first edition of "History of Religions" (1992) was approved by the Ministry of Education for teaching and auxiliary literature in the philosophy cycle of subjects.
